2004 Park Operations School – Gary Pinkerton has secured the Slippery Rock Borough Park for the school on August 12th. The facility can accommodate the classroom setting, has trees available for inspection and vendor space. Gary will be coordinating the lunches with Slippery Rock. Lunch at the Cabela’s site will be “on your own”. We will be raffling off gift cards to Cabela’s as door prizes. To obtain raffle tickets participants will have to visit the vendors. Judy will supply the raffle tickets and will work with Chris on developing a vendor application. John Spencer will handle the vendor expo and demonstrations at the Cabela’s site. Neal will try to obtain some give-aways from Cabela’s for the participants. The schedule for the workshop was discussed and it was decided that the general speaker would be first, followed by the site visits, time with the vendors, lunch, the pesticide session and the closing.
