PRPS has an extensive awards programs for both general and sub-specialties. Awards are presented at the Annual Conference with the exception of the PTRS branch awards.

The PRPS jobs center connects member and non member agencies with individuals seeking open jobs and internships.
PRPS offers six students and one young professinal each year the opportunity to apply for scholarships toward the PRPS Annual Conference. See the link to the left for details.
PPRS offers extensive training opportunities including the annual PRPS Conference, biennial Greenways & Trails Summit, annual Therapeutic Recreation Institute, membership meetings, webinars, and various workshops. Workshop topics include playground safety, aquatics, youth sports, therapeutic recreation, and park resources.
