Membership Advantages: Professional Certification

PRPS participates in the National Certification Plan for recreation and park professionals established by the National Recreation and Park Association. Members wishing to become certified apply through PRPS and take a certification exam. PRPS also offers programs that provide specialty certification. These include the National Playground Safety Inspector Certification Course, the Aquatic Facilities Operator Course, and State Pesticide Applicator Certification.
