The Summit provides 2 1/2 days of educational sessions, mobile workshops, and networking opportunities. It provides trail professionals, volunteers, and advocates with the essential information needed to build, manage, and maintain trails throughout the Commonwealth.
Location & Accommodations:
The Summit will be held at the Allegheny Community Center and Holiday Inn of Warren in Warren, PA. Warren is located in northwest PA at the confluence of two recognized water trails, the Conewango Creek and the Allegheny River as well as the convergence of the Lumber Heritage Region, Route 6 Alliance, and the PA Wilds to create a Heritage Community with more than 600 miles of both historical and recreational trails! You are invited to present at the 2015 Greenways and Trails Summit! We’re looking to fill 25 session slots. Multiple presenters per session are encouraged. Proposals from out-of-state speakers are welcome. Ultimately, the goals of the sessions are: (1) to highlight successful and innovative work you and your organization are doing; and (2) to share ideas and lessons learned that will help others develop and advance their trails and/or greenways.
