Scholarships and Grants:
Delaware Valley Property and Liability Trust (DVPLT) Education Grants
DVPLT is offering 2018 PRPS Annual Conference Education Grants, valued at $100 per DVPLT municipal member. There are 50 grants available. Recipients are required to attend at least one risk management educational session at the conference. Grant applications are not required for this grant opportunity, simply apply the following promotion code during your conference registration check out: DVPLT.

Delores M. Andy Scholarship
Consists of registration, meals and lodging for a Temple student at the Annual PRPS Conference.
John H. (Jack) Jones Memorial Scholarship
Consists of registration, meals, and lodging at the Annual Conference.
Larry G. Williamson Scholarship
Consists of registration, meals, and lodging at the Annual Conference. This scholarship is only available to Pennsylvania State University students.
Robert W. Crawford Memorial Scholarship
Consists of registration, meals, and lodging at the Annual Conference, plus a $500 scholarship.
Buzz D. Tyson Scholarship
Consists of registration, meals, and lodging at the Annual Conference. This scholarship is only available to Lock Haven University students. For more information, please email Buzz Tyson.
Outstanding Young Professional Scholarship
David Milliren, a PRPS member, has made a generous contribution to establish the Outstanding Young Professional Scholarship. This award recognizes and supports a young professional by covering $500 of the recipient's expenses to attend the PRPS conference. Candidates must meet be a Parks and Recreation professional, working in the field for three years or less.
To apply, submit a resume and two letters of recommendation from a professional supervisor or colleague to Tracy Robert. Applications will be judged and a selection made by the PRPS Community Branch Executive Committee. The recipient will be notified by phone.
Non-repayable funds gifted by one party
Payments made to support a student's education, awarded on the basis of academic achievement
