9:30am – 10:30am           Introduction to disc golf course design and maintenance

10:45am – 11:15am         Education session: Common turfgrass weed control in public open areas and ROW (1 credit - Cat. 7, Cat. 10, Cat. 18, Cat. 23)

11:15am – 11:45am         Education session: Invasive species management in forest borders and ROW (1 credit - Cat. 5, Cat. 10, Cat. 18, Cat. 23)

11:45am – 1:00pm           Catered Lunch and networking (in Maintenance Shop)

1:00pm – 1:30pm             Turfgrass weed ID walk (1 credit - Cat. 7, Cat. 10, Cat. 18, Cat. 23)

Participants will ID weeds commonly found in both parks and ROWs, while walking a portion of the disc golf course. Discussion will focus on IPM mitigation options.

1:30pm – 2:00pm             Invasive species ID walk (1 credit - Cat. 5, Cat. 10, Cat. 18, Cat. 23)

Participants will ID invasive species commonly found in both parks and ROWs, while completing the walk around the disc golf course. Discussion will focus on IPM mitigation options.
