2023 Shop Talk - Implementing GIS into Operations

The fourth quarter of 2023, Shop Talk will highlight opportunities for improving your operations in 2024. For this session, we invited Philip Shutler, Geographic Information Systems Technician for the City of Portland, OR to share his experience with GIS projects. Participants will: 1. Gain perspective into the power of GIS 2. Identify stakeholders that need to be involved with planning and implementation 3. Learn common metrics used to measure project success 4. Identify key indicators that "tell stories" and assist with staff and community engagement
